A few weeks back, a rumor hit the Internet that <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> wanted to remake "Fear," his pal <a href="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/166010/personmain.jhtml">Mark Wahlberg</a>'s classic thriller. Being that <a href="/news/articles/1665220/justin-bieber-mark-wahlberg-movie.jhtml">Wahlberg and Bieber</a> already have a project in the works, it wouldn't be too off base for the teen star to try his hand at the creepy film that follows a young man (Walhberg) who becomes obsessed with his teen girlfriend (<a href="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/67798/personmain.jhtml">Reese Witherspoon</a>) and goes on a dangerous rampage when the romance turns sour. <div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:729024" width="240" height="211"></div> Witherspoon will sit down with MTV News on Tuesday (January 31) for an exclusive interview and premiere of a previously unseen clip from her upcoming film, "This Means War." The special, "MTV First: This Means War," will air at 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV and MTV.com. And, during that chat, she has an interesting reaction to the news that her film may get a new-millennium remake. "Oh, really? Fine, great. That'd be cool. Would he be playing me, or is he playing Mark Wahlberg?" she wondered. "Is it like a girl who harasses the family, like a stalker who can't leave him alone? That would be good, right? I mean girls get crazy about him. Yeah, he's very talented." Much like <link type="content" id="1676492">Wahlberg, Witherspoon thinks Bieber certainly does have that "it" factor. "You know, I didn't know much about him until I saw the documentary. And I thought that was really worthwhile, worth seeing and it made me think, 'What a sweetheart,' and he has a really nice connection to his family," she said. "He's been working really hard, singing on the street." Following the on-air "First" segment, Academy Award winner Witherspoon will stay for an additional 30-minute interview on MTV.com with MTV News' Josh Horowitz. "This Means War," the McG-directed comedy-action film, stars Witherspoon as a seductive female dating two of the world's deadliest CIA operatives (played by Chris Pine and Tom Hardy), whose partnership and friendship are put in jeopardy when they begin to battle for her affection. Instead of talking to her about the love triangle, they try to settle the matter using all of the weapons at their disposal. The film also stars one of Witherspoon's real-life pals, comedian and "Chelsea Lately" host Chelsea Handler, who gives Reese's character the terrible advice that she should continue dating both men. Ludacris Taps Usher For Upcoming Spring Album

Are you ready for another <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/ludacris/artist.jhtml">Ludacris</a> album? It's been two years since 'Cris dropped his last album, Battle of the Sexes, and the Atlanta MC estimates that his next one will hit stores this spring. "I get the beats together and I put out my ideas, so I'd say we're maybe about 40 percent done," the rapper told <a href="http://www.billboard.com/column/the-juice/ludacris-eyes-spring-ludaversal-release-1005831952.story#/column/the-juice/ludacris-eyes-spring-ludaversal-release-1005831952.story" target="_blank">Billboard</a> of his upcoming eighth LP, Ludaversal, which he anticipates will be out around May with a first single dropping in March. Luda, who dropped his <a href="/news/articles/1674369/ludacris-1.21-gigawatts-mixtape.jhtml">1.21 Gigawatts mixtape</a> in November, also revealed one big-time guest on the LP. "<a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/usher/artist.jhtml">Usher</a> is one person that I've already worked with," he said. Who can forget Usher's inescapable smash "Yeah!" from his 2004 Confessions album? The two also hooked up on Lil Jon's "Lovers and Friends" in the same year and then again two years ago on Usher's "She Don't Know." As far as what the two have cooked up for Ludaversal, fans will just have to wait and see. Throughout his career, Luda has shown a ton of versatility. An undeniable hitmaker, at times the nimble-tongued lyricist has been comical (2001's "Area Codes" and 2004's "Number One Spot") and in other instances delivered healthy amounts of substance (2006's "Runaway Love" and 2008's "Do the Right Thing"). For Ludaversal, he will get a little personal. "It's been a minute since I've been away from music, and there is just so much to talk about," he said. "So [the album] is mostly about my personal life, my travels, my experiences, rumors, gossip — you know, everything coming together in one." What are your expectations for Ludacris' new album? <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>'s bodyguard got into a scuffle with a paparazzo at LAX airport on Monday. According to reports, the bodyguard intervened when the photographer refused to stop snapping the pop star's photo. <div class="player-placeholder right" id="id:1672718" width="240" height="211"></div> "Today at approximately 2:15 p.m., Los Angeles Airport Police observed what appeared to be a crowd control incident at Terminal 4 on the upper departures level involving Justin Bieber. An investigation revealed an altercation occurred between an unnamed body guard (victim) and a photographer (paparazzi) at the location," a Los Angeles Airport Police official told <a href="http://www.eonline.com/news/justin_biebers_bodyguard_tussles_with/292168#ixzz1lhehxVR3" target="_blank">E! News</a> about the incident. In the same statement, the police official explained that the paparazzo was ultimately detained by officials. "[The] twenty-one-year-old ... photographer, a resident of Van Nuys, Calif., was arrested and transported to the Airport Police Station for pre-booking procedures," the statement reads. "He was later transported to the LAPD Pacific Division Jail and booked for California Penal Code Section 245 — Assault with a Deadly Weapon — a felony." In footage obtained by <a href="http://www.tmz.com/2012/02/06/justin-bieber-bodyguard-paparazzi-fight-video/#.TzEpP8XOyf4" target="_blank">TMZ</a>, the photographer and Bieber's bodyguard are seen tussling with each other before the bodyguard punches him in the face. Later on, officials arrived and handcuffed the photographer. Bieber was at the airport picking up his family. He <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/justinbieber" target="_blank">tweeted</a> about meeting up with them, but never mentioned the incident. "I have my family with me...been a while. BEST FEELING. I love being a BIG BROTHER! #FAMILY," he wrote. Bieber recently tweeted about another incident that took place at an airport. When it was reported that he had ignored his fans, he wanted to clarify that that's not what happened. "The other day in the airport i got surrounded by 20 paps. I dont like small spaces and i just wanted to get on the plane. I ran to get thru the gate and there is a video of me running by fans and on the other side you dont see the 20 paps. I would never run by my fans... and for those that i did pass that day I AM SORRY. I know my fans are my everything. I know my responsibility to them. I LOVE MY BELIEBERS," he said of the incident, which took place in late January. "So as i get older i know i will learn to deal with these things better and better just still learning," he added. "Still human. just had to get that out." Bieber has always had an interesting relationship with the paps. In March 2011, he gave them the middle finger after being <a href="/news/articles/1659098/justin-bieber-paparazzi-birthday.jhtml">surrounded by photographers</a> following a birthday dinner with his girlfriend, Selena Gomez. "Hunger Games" director Gary Ross has provided us with some juicy details about his highly anticipated film of late, thanks to a lengthy sit-down interview with MTV News. We learned all about which scenes proved to be the most challenging for Ross and his team during filming and that there will be no Katniss voice-over provided by star Jennifer Lawrence.

And even though we won't be hearing Lawrence's narration, we'll be getting a good long look at more of her acting chops, which Ross could not praise enough when asked about the Oscar nominee's work in the film.

"She is so good, it's silly. Seriously, I just want to write her parents a thank-you letter for creating Jennifer Lawrence," Ross said. "Once a generation, you find this kind of talent."

When asked in which scenes Lawrence shines the most onscreen, Ross couldn't pick just one.

"I'm not being coy in this answer; it's really hard for me to say. The stuff she does in the tracker jacker sequence is incredible," he teased. "The stuff in the cave with Peeta, she's just remarkable in there. Obviously, from the trailer, you've seen what she does in the Reaping, the commitment, and how about the little girl Willow [Shields], who plays Prim? The commitment Jen has, the bravery, the incredible control over what she's doing, she's just remarkable."

Co-star Josh Hutcherson has echoed Ross' sentiments, along with the fact that Lawrence is just plain likeable.

"She's just a very real person, and you don't meet many actresses that are super real and down-to-earth and genuine and are extremely talented on top of all that," Hutcherson said. "She kind of has the whole thing going on, and she's an awesome person. I really hit it off with her."
